MY FAVOURITE TRACK: My future
It is the third studio album by the American singer Billie Eilish. She wrote the album with her brother Finneas O’Connell, who produced the album himself. They are both Grammy winning artists. The biggest inspiration for the album was Billie’s self-reflection of the covid-19 pandemic. She sings about several things she has learned while growing up. It is a downtempo pop, jazz-influenced album with electropop and rock arrangements. The album has received 7 nominations at the 64th annual Grammy awards. She also released A Disney+ documentary concert film, Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles and received a nomination for Best Music Film at the 2022 Grammys. Billie will present the album in an upcoming “Happier than ever” world tour.

It is the debut studio album by the American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo. The album was written by Rodrigo and produced by Dan Nigro. Her debut single “Drivers license” basically made the world turn around it. The album made Rodrigo the first artist in history to debut their first three singles in the top 10 of the Hot 100. It’s subject matter centres on adolescence, failed romance and heart break. All young people can relate to her lyrics. Sour is a pop and alt-pop record that spans from energetic pop punk songs to bedroom pop ballads. The album received 5 nominations at the 64th annual Grammy awards. Olivia was also nominated for best new artist. She will be presenting the album at the upcoming “Sour” world tour.

It is the debut album by the Slovenian rock band Joker out. The band is composed of vocalist Bojan Cvjetićanin, guitarists Kris Guštin and Jan Peteh, bassist Marko Jurkovič and drummer Jure Maček. It was produced by Žarko Pak and Dejan Radičevič. Bojan and Kris wrote the album about relationships, love, woman admiration, dirty thoughts and society influences. It is a rock and roll, pop album. They represented the album at a Slovenia tour last summer and I am pretty sure they are planning on another one for this summer. I myself attended one of their concerts with my friend and we had an indescribably great time.

It is the debut album of the American singer-songwriter Ashe. It was produced by the amazing Leroy Clampitt and Finneas O’Connell. Ashe wrote it about her experience with divorce, emotional abuse and grief coming from her brothers passing due to overdose in September 2020. She said that she tried to turn her pain and fear into joy, while writing the album. It is a pop album with influences from the 70s. She will be presenting the record at the upcoming “The fault line” US and Canada tour.

MY FAVOURITE TRACK: Woman like me
It is the fourth studio album by English singer-songwriter Adele. She worked with producers such as Tobias Jesso Jr., Ludwig Göransson, Info, Greg Kurstin, Max Martin and Shellback. She wrote and honest album explaining her coping with divorce, motherhood, fame and hope. She said that the album is one day going to help her son understand why his parents have separated. In the track “My little love” we can hear voice recordings of her talking to her son and her best friend about the feelings she’s fighting with. Adele made Spotify disable the shuffle button on her album because the tracks should be listened to in order, while her art tells a story. 30 is a pop, soul and jazz record. It reached number one in 24 territories. It was the best-selling album of 2021 in the US. 30 is also Adele’s fourth multi-platinum album in the US. She is going to present the album during the summer in two concerts at British summer time Hyde Park in London.

It is the second re-recorded album by the American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. She decided to re-record her first six studio albums as a countermeasure against their changed ownership of the masters. Red (Taylor’s version) is a re-recording of her fourth studio album, released in 2012. The album was produced buy a lot of amazing producers like: Christopher Rowe, Shellback, Aaron Dessner, Jack Antonoff, Elvira Anderfjärd, Paul Mirkovich, Dan Wilson, Jeff Bhasker, Jacknife Lee, Butch Walker, Espionage, Tim Blacksmith, Danny D and Taylor herself. The record features artist such as Phoebe Bridgers, Chris Stapleton, Gary Lightbody and Ed Sheeran. She wrote it about love, heartache, life, and loss. It is a pop record with country roots. She became the fastest soloist in Billboard 200 history to collect four number-one albums, doing so in under 16 months, the album also became one of the top 10 best-sellers of 2021. The long awaited 10-minute version of her song “All too well” became the longest song ever to reach number on the Billboard hot 100. Swift wrote and directed a short film “All too well” inspired by her song “All too well” showing her failed relationship with the actor Jake Gyllenhaal, starring the amazing Sadie Sink and Dylan O’Brien.

After Måneskin’s victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with “Zitti e buoni”, the album started appearing on weekly charts across Europe, soon after it became very popular worldwide. It is a rock and roll, power ballad album. They wrote the lyrics themselves, about diversity, fragility, phobias, romance, and desire for revenge. They will be presenting the album at the upcoming “Lound kids” Europe tour.

The record deals with themes such as mental health, heartbreak, and public scrutiny. It is a pop, R&B record with elements of alternative. The album debuted at number 65 on the Billboard 200. The track “Homesick” contains excerpts from the adult animated sitcom, Rick and Morty. In November she finished “The life support” US and Canada tour at which she presented the album.

She wrote the album as an “emotional recap” of the year 2020. She sings about mental health, dirty thoughts, and all different sides of love. It is a bedroom pop, indie rock album. The album’s second single, “Rue”, was inspired by the titular fictional character for the American TV series Euphoria. Critics felt that it was her best work to date. She will be presenting the album at the upcoming “Make it go quiet” world tour.
