Exhibition of Ukrainian and Slovenian artists against war
On Friday, 16 December 2022, the Slovenj Gradec High School hosted the opening of the exhibition We Are Not the Last. All the students and teachers gathered in the school lobby and listened with interest to Zoran Ogrinec, the president of the Jože Tisnikar Cultural Association, who explained the meaning of this exhibition and its importance. The 4th grade pupils also recited poems about the war and refugees. With this event, we want to send a message to the world that we are against violence and the horrors of war. The exhibition was one of the first in Europe which was dedicated to the Ukrainian war. The whole school calls for humanity and peace. Students also showed their support by gathering humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
