10. YOU
You is an original Netflix psychological thriller series developed by Greg Berlanti and Sera Gamble. Series are based on Caroline Kerpnes’s novel which was written in 2014. The story follows Joe Goldberg, a New York bookstore manager and serial killer who in the first season falls in love with a customer named Guinevere Beck and quickly develops an extreme, toxic, and delusional obsession. The second season follows Joe as he moves to Los Angeles where he falls in love with local heiress Love Quinn.
Currently, there are 2 seasons of the show and the third season is expected to arrive in 2021. In my opinion, the show was interesting, but I am not a big fan of that kind of series, so I didn’t enjoy it that much. If you like dark shows with some psychotic element with a little bit of romance, you will love it.
9. THE ORIGINALS
The Originals is an American fantasy supernatural drama television series that began airing in October 2013. It is a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries which I will write more about later. The series follows vampire-werewolf hybrid Klaus Mikaelson as he and his family known as “the Originals” become embroiled in the supernatural politics of the French Quarter of New Orleans.
The show has 5 seasons with 92 episodes. The last one came out in August 2018. In my opinion the series are very interesting to watch because they are full of surprises and you cannot predict what will happened next. I also recommend watching Vampire Diaries first because in Originals there are many characters from the show’s spin-off. You will also understand the whole story better.

It has 3 seasons, and it is a story about teenage girl Clary Fray. On her 18th birthday Clary is accepted into the Brooklyn Academy of Arts. That evening, while out celebrating with her best friend, Simon Lewis, Clary sees a group of suspicious people that nobody else can see. Through the story she discovers many secrets her mother was hiding from her for 18 years. Her mother also got kidnapped and she was thrown into the world of demon hunting with the mysterious, narcissistic, and attractive Shadowhunters: Jace, Isabelle and Alec.
I really liked this show, especially the ending which was emotional and also totally unexpected.

7. GOSSIP GIRL
Gossip Girl is a teen drama television series based on the novel series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar. Narrated by the unknown blogger “Gossip Girl” the series revolves around the lives of privileged upper-class teens living in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. The series begins with the return of Upper East Side teenage “it girl” Serena van der Woodsen from a mysterious absence. She is reunited with her frenemy Blair Waldorf and her mother Lily, and she also meets Dan Humphrey —an aspiring writer from Brooklyn who is one of Serena’s main love interests throughout the show. Other main characters include Nate Archibald, Chuck Bass, Jenny Humphrey, Vanessa Abrams, Rufus Humphrey, and Ivy Dickens.
Through 6 seasons we can see a lot of drama, love triangles, secret revels and much more. I loved it because it never gets boring. It is also very interesting because through the whole show you can’t figure it out who the gossip girl is and, in the end, I was honestly shocked. I highly recommend it.

6. OUTER BANKS
Outer Banks is an action-adventure mystery teen drama television series created by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke that premiered on Netflix on April 15, 2020. In July 2020, the series was renewed for a second season.
Outer Banks follows a group of teenagers in the Outer Banks of North Carolina who are called “Pogues”, who live at The Cut, and are determined to find out what happened to the missing father of the group’s leader, John B. Along the way, they discover a legendary treasure that is tied to John B’s father. Chased by the law and a wealthy and superior group called the “Kooks” from Figure Eight, the Pogues seek to overcome obstacles such as drugs, love, fighting, friendship, money, and the disenfranchisement of being an American teen.
The show has only 10 episodes, but I watched it all in one day because they are absolutely amazing and I also can’t wait for season 2 which comes out in 2021.
5. TEEN WOLF
Teen Wolf is an American supernatural teen drama series developed by Jeff Davis for MTV, loosely based on the 1985 film of the same name. The story follows a teenage boy Scott Mc Call who became a werewolf who defends his California town from supernatural creatures and other threats. The show has 6 seasons. There are also rumours that season 7 could happen but I doubt that’s true.
Scott begins the series as a relatively unpopular and unathletic student who lives with his divorced mother Melissa, a nurse at Beacon Hills Memorial Hospital. As a werewolf, he develops heightened physical abilities and senses well beyond those of an ordinary human, but he also must control animalistic instincts that are amplified by feelings of aggression and full moons. Further complicating matters, Scott develops romantic feelings for new classmate Allison Argent, who comes from a family of werewolf hunters. Helping Scott manage his new life are his best friend Stiles Stilinski and the natural-born werewolf Derek Hale. The supernatural events surrounding Beacon Hills also end up affecting Lydia Martin, a popular and intelligent student who discovers that she is a banshee, and Jackson Whittemore, the captain of the school’s lacrosse team who resents Scott’s newfound attention.
In my opinion first 5 seasons are great. I didn’t like season 6 that much because they cut off my favourite character for almost whole season and it just wasn’t the same without him. If we omit that the series are awesome!

4. MONEY HEIST (LA CASA DE PAPEL)
Money Heist (Spanish: La casa de papel, “The House of Paper”) is a Spanish heist crime drama television series created by Álex Pina. It has 2 seasons with 4 parts and 31 episodes.
The story is set in Madrid where mysterious man known as “The Professor” recruits a group of eight people, who choose cities for code-names, to carry out an ambitious plan that involves entering the Royal Mint of Spain, and escaping with €2.4 billion. After taking 67 people hostages inside the Mint, the team plans to remain inside for 11 days to print the money as they deal with elite police forces. In the events succeeding the initial heist, the group are forced out of hiding and find themselves preparing for a second heist, this time on the Bank of Spain, as they again deal with hostages and police forces.
Honestly, I think Money Heist is thrilling and entertaining show with twists in every corner. If you don’t nit-pick and think too hard, it’s a fun show filled with a lot of great characters.

3. LUCIFER
Lucifer is an American fantasy series developed by Tom Kapinos that premiered on Fox on January 2016. It has currently 5 seasons but the show is renewed for season 6.
The story follows Lucifer Morningstar, a handsome and powerful angel who was cast out of Heaven for his betrayal. As the Devil, Lucifer tires of the millennia he’s spent being the Lord of Hell, punishing people. Becoming increasingly bored and unhappy with his life in Hell, he resigns his throne in defiance of his father (God) and abandons his kingdom for Los Angeles, where he runs his own nightclub called “Lux”. When he finds himself involved in a murder investigation, he meets Detective Chloe Decker. After helping the LAPD (Los Angeles police department) solve the case by using his power to manipulate humans into revealing their deepest desires, he accepts an invitation to become a consultant to the department. Throughout the series, he learns he’s changing into someone who is different than the devil he is. As the events unfold, several celestial and demonic threats come to Los Angeles; at the same time, Lucifer and Chloe ultimately allow their love for each other to bring them through the darkness.
I think that if you like cop series, it is worth watching. You might get bored if you’re into something interesting every damn episode. It’s basically about how Lucifer decides to quit his duties in hell and live an awesome life on Earth. I enjoyed it and I can’t wait for more episodes.
