ROK MOŽIČ

Rok Možič was born on 17th January 2002. He is considered one of the most promising volleyball players in the world. He is a member of the Slovenian national volleyball team. Rok is 200cm tall. In his younger years he achieved as many as 8 national championship titles with the volleyball team.

Season 2018/2019

In this season, he was appointed the best player with the most points. As a member of the Volleyball Club Maribor, he was one of the youngest players in the 1st league in the 2018/2019 season and finished the championship with an excellent 4th place. The team consisted of local boys, which everyone in the club was very proud of.

Season 2019/2020

In 2019 he got his first nomination for the most promising athlete in the city of Maribor. He won the title of national champions with OK Merkur Maribor and after many years brought a victory back to Maribor. Rok was the most important player and the most deserving for this achievement. It is interesting that his father won the title 28 years ago, also with the Maribor team.

Season 2021

In 2021, he got a title of the most promising Slovene sportsman of the year. Rok signed a contract with Italian first division club Verona Volley. He signed a two-year contract with the team, his childhood dream has always been to play in one of the strongest Italian leagues. So now he has been playing in the Italian first league and next to Tonček Štern who is a member of Piacenzaand. He has been impressing them from day one. In the preparatory match against the Bulgarian champion Hebar Pazardzhik, which his team won 4: 0, he contributed 27 points and earned praise.

Beach Volleyball

In beach volleyball Rok became European vice champion under 18.Together with Rok Bračko they won the title of European champion under 20 in 2021. Možič and Bračko played very well in the group stage of the competition. In the first match they won and celebrated after three sets, later they were better than the Latvians and the Estonians. In the grand finale, Rok Možič and Rok Bračko defeated Norwegians Markus Mol and Joe Sunde. For Slovenia, this is the first title of European champions in beach volleyball. Only Tine Urnaut and Nejc Zemljak, who became world champions in the under 19 categories in 2005, achieved greater success. Možič has won all 12 beach volleyball titles since he was 13 years old

Slovenian national team

As mentioned earlier, Rok is a member of the Slovenian national volleyball team. He was in the national teams in all junior selections. With the cadet national team, they became Central European champions. He first drew attention to himself in the national team in 2021 in the League of Nations. The same year, he was looking forward to a silver medal at the European Championships with the Slovenian national team.
