10 MOVIES TO WATCH WHEN BORED

 I’m probably not the only one that googles »best movies to watch when you are bored« or anything in that sense…right?Let’s be real for a second….there have been more than a few times that I didn’t know what to do with my spare time, most of the times just because it was late at night and I just did not feel like sleeping because I have been sleeping for the whole day (don’t lie to yourself, you can most definitely relate to this statement). Whenever I tried to google some suggestions for movies I always got recommended the same films, so I spent an hour or so just finding some new ones (which is really frustrating if you ask me).  This is how I gathered 10 of the best movies to watch while you are bored. Some of them are funny others are sci-fi based, romantic etc.Now if you are reading this article because YOU are really bored, I hope you find some movies you haven’t watched yet.Now let’s get started…..
  1. 10 Things I Hate About You (1999)
The first movie and my all time favourite movie is 10 things I hate about you. Now this is just a total cliche but still so much fun to watch. I watched it more than 10 times and still love it.A bad boy gets payed to go out with the most disliked girl in school, just so her sister gets to date a hot guy. Now in this movie there is even a love triangle that works out in a quite interesting spin of events. If you feel like watching a total cliché of a film and falling in love with a bad boy character than this is a movie for you.
  1. The 40 Year Old Virign (2005)
Now if you haven’t seen or even heard of this movie I just have one question for you. Have you been living under a freaking rock??? I mean this movie is a classic comedy. A guy who has never done it and is getting the help of his friends so he can score. Again, the CLASIC!This is really a fun movie to watch either alone or with your friends.
  1. Lord Of The Rings (2001, 2002, 2003)
If you haven’t watched ANY of the Lord of the rings movies, stop searching because you have just found your next movie to watch. Now if you like fantasy and adventure films you are going to love this movie series. There are three Lord of the Rings movies: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King.You know this is a good movie when Ian McKellen and Elijah Wood star in it.

  1. Shrek (2001)
Who remembers it?!Bet you didn’t even think about this movie since it came out. If you want a trip down memory lane go and watch Shrek, I have to say that the talking donkey is definitely my favourite character in this movie series. If you ever watched TV when you were little than you basically know what Shrek is about…but hey! Still a fun film to watch.
  1. Men In Black (1997, 2002, 2012)
You must have watched at least one of the Men in black movies. If you like comedy, sci-fi, adventure and crime well this might just become your favourite movie of all time.The film stars Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith as two agents of a secret organization called the Men in Black, who supervise extraterrestrial lifeforms who live on Earth and hide their existence from ordinary humans. In other words, aliens are real!
 
  1. Mean Girls 1 (2004)
Considering you probably own a phone and know what a gif is than you must have heard of or seen Rogina George aka The mean girl. This is a total teen comedy movie with A-list girls, rivalry and betrayal.Just a disclaimer, the 1st movie is way better than the 2nd. 
  1. Blockers (2018)  
It is a sex comedy that will have you laughing your butt off, not joking.It is about a trio of parents who try to stop their daughters from losing their virginities once they learn about their pact that is going to happen on prom night.This movie just came out in theatres so you should definitely go watch it.
  1. Nerve (2016)
You know the movie is »hot« when there are Dave Franco and Emma Roberts as the leading roles.Have you ever played a truth or dare game where strangers enlist as players or watchers? The players have to do certain dares and there is an elimination system. Now who will survive and win?Guess you will have to watch to find out…..
  1. Let’s Be Cops(2014)
Have you ever wondered what it is like to be a cop? Well Justin Miller (played by Damon Wayans, Jr.) and Ryan O’Malley (played by Jake Johnson) take college reunion party to the next level when they show up in fake cop costumes. It was all fun and games until they actually started to go out and act like cops.What will happen to them? Dude you got to watch to see.
  1. Barbershop: The Next Cut (2016)
You have probably heard of this movie but never got around to watch it….I suggest watching the Barbershop 1 and 2 before this one.You know the movie is funny when you have Anthony Anderson, Ice Cube, Lamorne Morris, Regina Hall, Nicki Minaj and so many more talented actors in the film.The movie is focused on the battle of the sexes, gangs and crime.
